Why choose Neva

Six reasons, none of them invented. Everything on this page describes something you can feel, measure or see on the pack.

Softness you notice first

The top sheet is brushed to a cotton-like finish rather than left plastic-smooth, because the first ten seconds of wearing a pad decide whether a woman trusts it.

A core that locks

Fluid is pulled through the cover and held inside a gel-forming core, so the surface against the skin keeps feeling dry long after the pad went on.

Guards that actually guard

Raised side barriers channel flow inward and adhesive wings anchor the pad, which is what stops the two most common kinds of leak.

A back sheet that breathes

Warmth and moisture vapour escape through the back sheet instead of building up, which is the difference between a tolerable day and a comfortable one.

Discreet by design

Every pad is individually wrapped in a pouch that opens quietly and folds into a disposal wrapper afterwards — useful in a shared washroom or a school toilet.

Made in a daughter’s name

Neva belongs to a company founded in memory of Joyce Augustine. That is not a slogan — it is the reason the quality bar was set where it was.

The five-layer build

What a Neva pad is made of

From the surface down. Each layer does one job, and only one.

  • Top sheet — soft, brushed cover that takes fluid away from the skin fast.
  • Acquisition layer — spreads fluid across the core instead of letting it pool.
  • Absorbent core — fluff pulp with a gel-forming agent that holds fluid inside.
  • Leak guards — raised edges running the length of the pad.
  • Back sheet — breathable barrier with the adhesive strip and wings.

Things we will not put on a pack

Plenty of pads in this market are sold on claims that cannot be supported. Neva does not use them.

  • No claims that a pad treats, cures or prevents infection.
  • No promises about fertility, hormones or menstrual cycles.
  • No added fragrance marketed as a health benefit.
  • No comparison claims we have not actually tested.

Questions women actually ask

Every four to six hours, regardless of how full it looks. Time, not volume, is what matters for comfort and skin health.

Regular for most days, XL for the heaviest one or two days and for nights, Teen for a girl who has recently started her periods. Many women keep two of the three at home.

Full ingredient and fragrance details are printed on each pack. We do not market scent as a health benefit, and anyone with sensitive skin should read the pack before buying.
